Removal & Installation (AA & AP Bodies)

  1. On Acclaim, LeBaron Sedan and Spirit, remove cluster bezel. See CLUSTER BEZEL R & I  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. On Shadow and Sundance, remove headlight switch bezel by unsnapping from instrument panel.
  2. On both bodies, remove screws retaining headlight switch mounting plate to base panel. Pull headlight switch and plate outward. Disconnect wiring connectors from switch.
  3. Remove headlight knob and stem by depressing button on top rear of switch. Unsnap plastic trim cover from assembly to access switch retaining nut. Remove headlight switch-to-mounting plate retaining nut. Separate headlight switch from mounting plate. To install, reverse removal procedure.
