Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal

NOTE: Oil separator plate is installed on cylinder block side of rear crankshaft oil seal. Ensure separator plate is installed with oil hole positioned downward (toward oil pan mounting surface).
  1. Remove flywheel or drive plate. Using screwdriver, pry seal from seal case. If necessary, remove seal case from cylinder block to install seal.
  2. To install, use Seal Installer (MD998376) and press seal into seal case. Install seal case with new gasket. Install flywheel or drive plate.
