Fuel Pressure Release

NOTE: For reassembly reference, label all electrical connectors, vacuum hoses and fuel lines before removal. Also place mating marks on engine hood and other major assemblies before removal.
CAUTION: Fuel system is under pressure. Release pressure before disconnecting fuel system components.

Disconnect Black/White wire fuel pump connector at rear side of fuel tank. Start and operate engine until it stops. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Reconnect fuel pump connector.
