Engine Oiling System

The oil pump is driven by timing belt and provides lubrication to main gallery. Turbo models use a oil cooler with oil jets. Oil jets are mounted in oil gallery of cylinder block and spray oil on bottom of piston for piston cooling. Oil cooler by-pass valve is also used on turbo models. See Figure.
