Piston & Rod Assembly
Valve clearance cutout(s) on piston heads should face manifold side of engine. Pistons on turbocharged engines must be installed with arrow on top of piston facing toward front of engine. On all models, oiling hole on connecting rod must face toward front (timing belt end) of engine. See Fig 1.
