Disc Brake Caliper & Pads - Front: Removal

  1. Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove caliper guide pin. After pin removal, use a screwdriver to pry caliper away from rotor.
  2. Remove either caliper by slowly sliding it out and away from rotor. Suspend caliper with wire to prevent damage to brake hose. Remove brake pads.
