Disc Brake Caliper & Pads - Front: Installation

Clean and lubricate caliper mounting adapter-to-caliper sliding contact surfaces. Remove protective paper from noise suppression gasket on pads.
Install inner pad on adapter and install rotor on drive hub. Install outer pad on adapter and carefully lower caliper over pads and rotor.
Install caliper guide pins. Tighten to specification. Pump brake pedal several times until a firm pedal is obtained. Refill master cylinder and bleed brake system if necessary.
Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nuts to half of torque specified, skipping every other nut while going around. When all nuts are tightened to half torque, repeat sequence, tighten to full torque. Road test vehicle.
