Cleaning & Inspection

Clean all components (including bleeder screw) using alcohol or solvent. Blow out all passages and bores with compressed air. Inspect piston and bore for scoring or pitting. On Monaco and Premier models, replace caliper and piston if scored. On all other models, clean light scoring or corrosion with crocus cloth. Bores with deep scoring may be honed, providing diameter of bore is not increased more than .001" (.025 mm). If specification is exceeded, replace caliper.
