Voltmeter Circuit Test
- Remove temperature/voltmeter/fuel gauge assembly (L body) or voltmeter (all others) from instrument cluster. With ignition on, check for battery voltmeter (B+) pin and voltmeter ground pin. See Figure through Figure .
- Voltmeter readings should indicate regulated alternator output or battery voltage, whichever is greater. If voltage did not exist, check wiring and battery voltage. If voltage did exist, replace voltmeter.
