Removal & Installation (G & J Bodies)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove switch pod. See SWITCH POD R & I  .
  2. Unscrew tilt steering column lever (if equipped). Remove screws from below upper steering column cover. Remove steering column covers. Pull bezel rearward to disengage clips and remove.
  3. Remove instrument cluster retaining screws. Pull instrument cluster rearward. Tilt instrument cluster to disconnect wiring connections and turbo gauge hose (if equipped). Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
