Removal (Colt Vista 2.0L & Ram-50 2.4L)

  1. Remove timing belt and crankshaft sprocket. See TIMING BELT  in this article. Remove oil filter, oil pressure switch, oil pan and oil screen.
  2. Remove oil filter bracket, front cover and oil pump assembly. Remove plug cap located on the front of front cover. Remove plug cap using Plug Cap Wrench (MD998162).
