Valve Springs: Notes

Inspect valve spring free length, tension, out-of-square and installed height (if available). Replace if not within specification. See ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS tables. Installed spring height is measured from spring seat and valve retainer. Install all valve springs with painted area toward rocker arm.
