Reassembly & Installation

  1. Coat all components with engine oil and assemble gears in housing in original location. Ensure timing marks on gears are aligned. Install rear cover. Install front cover using new gasket.
  2. Install proper length bolts and tighten to specification. Slide seal into front cover. Using Seal Installer (MD998304), install front seal in front cover. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
