Water Pump: Removal

Drain cooling system and disconnect battery. Remove necessary coolant hoses. Remove timing belt. See TIMING BELT  under CAMSHAFT in this article. Remove pump mounting bolts. Note bolt length and location. Remove alternator brace and water pump.

CAUTION: Note bolt length and location during removal. Different lengths are used and must be installed in original location.
