Engine Identification

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is stamped on a metal plate at upper left corner of instrument panel, near windshield. The eighth character identifies engine and tenth character identifies model year. Engine model code and serial number are stamped on top edge of right front side of cylinder block near alternator.
