Voltmeter Circuit Test

Remove voltmeter assembly (or temperature-voltmeter-oil pressure assembly). With ignition in "ON" position, check for battery voltage across positive (B+) pin and ground pin. See Fig 1 thru Fig 6 . Instrument panel voltmeter indicates regulated alternator output or battery voltage, whichever is greater.
