Jet Valves

Using special Jet Valve Socket Wrench (MD998310), remove jet valves. Disassemble valve using spring pliers (MD998309) to compress spring and remove retainer lock. Check valve head and seat for damage and make sure jet valve slides smooth in body without play.

CAUTION: Make certain that jet valve socket wrench is not tilted with respect to center of valve. If tool is tilted, stem may bend and result in improper valve operation. Do not attempt to repair jet valve and body combination. If defective, replace as an assembly.
