Temperature Gauge

NOTE: When performing this test, DO NOT  connect sender wire directly to ground.
  1. Unplug temperature sender wire at sending unit. Connect a 104 ohm resistor between wire and ground. Gauge should indicate about 158°F (70°C).
  2. For all models, if gauge tests okay, remove sending unit and place in hot water. Sender should be placed so that its sensing part is .12" (3 mm) from surface of water. Resistance should be 104 ohms.
