Speed Sensor

  1. Disconnect speedometer cable. Turn speedometer cable connection of combination meter by hand. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and No. 3 on back of speedometer. Voltmeter should read between 4.7-5.3 volts. See Fig 1 .
  2. Measure variation in voltage between terminals No. 2 and No. 3. Variation should be 0.5-5.0 volts. See Fig 1 .
