LSPV Valve Pressure Test

NOTE: The vehicle must be on a level surface, in an unloaded condition, and not supported in any way, except by its own wheels.
  1. Connect pressure gauges to the input and output side. See Fig 1.Once bled, depress pedal to check if pressures meet specifications. See Brake Hydraulic Pressure Chart.

  2. With pedal depressed, open bleeder screw of LSPV. If both pressures are equal, the fail safe system is operating. If the pressures are not within specifications, loosen spring support bolt and adjust the length of the sensor spring. See Fig 2.

  3. If adjustments do not meet specifications, replace LSPV and sensor spring as a set.
