Combination Valve & BPV Valve Pressure Test
NOTE:
On Colt models, the valve body contains 2 proportioning valves. Each must be tested separately.
Use 2 pressure gauges that measure at least 2000 psi 140.6 (kg/cm2 ). Hook one gauge to master cylinder rear side and the other to rear wheel cylinder. Pressure readings should be as specified. See Brake Hydraulic Pressure Chart. Replace defective part as required. DO NOT disassemble combination or BPV valves.
