Challenger & Sapporo With Rear Drum Brakes

These models use a Combination Valve, identified by a Pink color coding mark. See Fig 1. The valve is located near front wheels.

The combination valve, which includes both a proportioning and differential valve, accomplishes 3 functions. It provides pressure control of rear service brakes, deactivates rear brake pressure control when front service brakes fail, and provides warning in event of trouble.

NOTE: DO NOT  attempt to disassemble combination valve, as its performance is based on the factory setting.
