Removal (1.4L)

  1. Remove fan, spacer, water pump pulley and belt. Remove timing belt cover and move timing belt tensioner upward toward water pump and secure. Remove timing belt from camshaft sprocket.
  2. Remove camshaft sprocket and crankshaft pulley. Mark belt with an arrow indicating direction of rotation for installation reference and remove timing belt.
