Charge Indicator (Aries & Reliant)
The charge indicator light comes on when ignition voltage at instrument cluster drops below 11.2 volts. This system monitors the complete charging system instead of just the alternator output. System consists of an electronic module plugged into the printed circuit. It senses voltage between cluster feed and ground by means of a diode and transistor.
