Hot Method

  1. Run engine until it is at normal operating temperature.
  2. Remove valve cover and gasket.
  3. While engine is running at a slow idle, adjust intake valves to 0.006" and exhaust valves to 0.010".
  4. Reinstall valve cover with new gasket and check crankcase oil level.
