Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel steering column opening filler. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  2. Remove bolts from the Data Link Connector.
  3. Remove the hood release lever. Refer to HOOD LATCH RELEASE HANDLE REPLACEMENT .
  4. Remove SIR connector clip.
  5. Remove the bolts from the knee bolster bracket.

  6. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster bracket from the instrument panel.
