Activating System

Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. Connect driver-side air bag module Yellow 2-pin connector, located at base of steering column and install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. See Figure. Connect passenger-side air bag module Yellow 2-pin connector, located to right of steering column and install CPA clip. See Figure. Reinstall driver-side knee bolster. Install AIR BAG fuse and instrument panel end cover. Check system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
