Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate screws.
  2. Remove the steering column filler panel. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  3. Pull the I/P cluster trim plate rearward to disengage the retainers.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the trip odometer and reset switch.
  5. Release the retainers on the trip odometer and reset switch by using a small flat-bladed tool.
  6. Remove the trip odometer and reset switch from the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
