Installation Procedure

  1. Align the instrument panel compartment latch with the instrument panel compartment door.

  2. Slide the retainer clip onto the instrument panel compartment latch.
  3. Route the lock rod into the instrument panel latch.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the instrument panel compartment latch screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the instrument panel compartment latch bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Close instrument panel compartment door.
