Low Oil Pressure Indicator

IPC illuminates low oil pressure indicator when one of the following occurs:

• Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects low oil pressure (signal circuit is low). IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM requesting illumination.
• IPC performs displays test at start of each ignition cycle. Indicator illuminates for about 3 seconds.
