Seat Belt Indicator

IPC illuminates seat belt indicator when one of the following occurs:

• Body Control Module (BCM) detects that driver seat belt is unbuckled. IPC receives a class 2 message from BCM requesting illumination. IPC illuminates indicator for 20 seconds and then flashes indicator for 55 seconds. IPC sends a class 2 message to BCM to activate an audible warning.
• IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with BCM.
