Removal & Installation
- Remove caliper. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER . See Figure. With caliper removed from vehicle, remove rattle clips and pads.
- Bottom piston in caliper bore using "C" clamp and metal plate (or wooden block) across piston face. Clean caliper bolts. Use silicone grease to lube unthreaded portions of caliper bolts.
- Install new pads with the wear sensors on outside, trailing edge of pad downward. Reinstall caliper and tighten caliper bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Seat brake pads.
