Test H: Charge Indicator Inoperative

  1. Ensure battery is in good working condition. After ensuring battery is okay, go to next step.
  2. Observe charge indicator. Start engine. If charge indicator does not illuminate during bulb check, go to next step. If charge indicator illuminates during bulb check, go to DIAGNOSING INTERMITTENTS  .
  3. Replace instrument panel cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair, system is okay.
