Gauges & Indicators: Speedometer

IPC displays vehicle speed based on information from Powertrain Control Module (PCM). IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM indicating vehicle speed. Speedometer defaults to "0" mph if PCM detects a malfunction in vehicle speed sensor circuit is detected or if IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with PCM.
