Removal & Installation

Disconnect fluid level sensor electrical connector. Disconnect brakelines from master cylinder, and plug to avoid fluid loss and contamination. Remove master cylinder nuts and master cylinder. To install, reverse removal procedure. Bench bleed master cylinder before installation. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM . Tighten master cylinder nuts and brakeline fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
