Removal & Installation (With Drum Brakes)

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and brake drum. If drums are difficult to remove, see steps  2 and  3 of REAR BRAKE SHOES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect wheel speed sensor and harness. Remove hub and bearing mounting bolts. Remove hub and bearing assembly. Suspend brake backing plate with wire so it will not damage brakeline. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
