Removal & Installation (With ABS)

NOTE: Proportioning valves are located in rear brake lines, on each side of fuel tank.

Raise and support vehicle. Clean dirt and foreign material from brake pipes and proportioning valve. Disconnect brake pipe fittings from proportioning valve using backup wrench. Remove proportioning valve. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten proportioning valve tube nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Bleed brakes. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
