Removal (Non-ABS)

  1. Remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Clamp flange on master cylinder body in vise. Drive out spring pins with 1/8" punch, using care not to damage reservoir or cylinder body. Remove reservoir by pulling it straight up. Remove "O" rings from reservoir grooves.
  2. Remove proportioning valve caps, "O" rings and springs. Remove pistons with needle nose pliers, being careful not to damage piston stems. Separate seals from pistons.
