Abs Modulator/Motor Pack Assembly (Cutlass, MALIBU, ALERO & 1999 Grand Am): Reassembly

  1. Install brake motor pack to hydraulic modulator. Install and tighten hydraulic modulator-to-brake motor pack Torx head screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
  2. Install gear cover to brake motor pack. Install and tighten gear cover Torx head screws to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
  3. To complete assembly, reverse disassembly procedure. Ensure motor pack gears are aligned with ABS modulator gears. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM.
  4. Using scan tool, perform MOTOR REHOME PROCEDURE. Perform ABS Diagnostic System Check.
