The following conditions may cause an intermittent: Intermittent open or short to ground in circuit No. 1036 (Gray wire) or No. 1037 (Light Green wire), poor connections at BCM or IPC, or intermittent open in splice pack SP205. BCM may store DTC U1096 if certain diagnostics are performed between IPC and Data Link Connector (DLC).
