If DTC is history, problem may be intermittent. Perform test procedure while wiggling wiring and connectors. Visually inspect connectors and circuits. If circuit No. 1344 is shorted to ground, trunk lid will not close until TRUNK RELEASE fuse (10-amp) blows.
