Turn ignition on and cover ambient light sensor in instrument panel. Low beams should turn on after about 8 seconds. If low beams do not turn on, go to appropriate wiring diagram in HEADLIGHT SYSTEMS & DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. Turn ignition on and activate high beams. Cover ambient light sensor. High beams should turn on after about 8 seconds. If high beams do not turn on, go to appropriate wiring diagram in HEADLIGHT SYSTEMS & DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. If DTC is history, problem may be intermittent. Perform test procedure while wiggling wiring and connectors.
