Testing Procedure

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, read IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) DTCs. If DTC C1040 is set, go to next step. If DTC C1040 is not set, check for open circuit between PCM and data link connector.
  3. Replace EBCM/EBTCM.
