Testing Procedure

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Run AUTOMATED TEST. If DTC C1262 resets, go to next step. If DTC C1262 does not reset, see INTERMITTENTS & POOR CONNECTIONS  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
  3. Replace EBTCM.
