Testing Procedure

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. If DTC C1254 is also set, see DTC 1254 for diagnosis. If DTC C1254 is not set, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. If DTC C1245 resets, go to next step. If DTC C1245 does not reset, go to step  5 .
  4. Replace EBTCM.
  5. Problem is intermittent. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS.
