Removal & Installation (3.8L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Partially drain coolant from cooling system to below engine coolant level indicator module on radiator. See Fig 1 . Disconnect electrical connector from engine coolant level indicator module.
To unlock engine coolant level indicator module from radiator, lift one leg of the snap clip from locked position and pull outward with slight twisting motion. Remove module. Check condition of "O" ring and replace, if necessary. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install snap clip onto radiator before installing module.
