DTC 2558: Interior Light Control Output Short To Power
- Disconnect BCM Gray connector C3. Remove left and right courtesy bulbs. Turn dome light switch off. Using DVOM, check voltage between BCM harness connector C3 terminal A11 (White wire) and ground. If voltage exists, go to next step. If voltage does not exist, replace BCM. Clear DTC.
- Disconnect left IP wiring harness connectors C1, C2 and C3. Check voltage between BCM harness connector C3 terminal A11 (White wire) and ground. If voltage exists, go to next step. If voltage does not exist, go to step 4 .
- Repair short to voltage on White wire between BCM harness connector C3 terminal A11 and left IP junction block connector C1 terminal E4. Clear DTC.
- Check voltage between left IP junction block connector C2 terminal C4 (White wire) and ground. If voltage exists, go to next step. If voltage does not exist, go to step 6 .
- Repair short to voltage on White wire between left IP junction block connector C2 terminal C4 and left and/or right courtesy light terminal "B". Clear DTC.
- Check voltage between left IP junction block connector C3 terminal 10 (White wire) and ground. If voltage exists, go to next step. If voltage does not exist, replace left IP wiring harness junction block. Clear DTC.
- Repair short to voltage on White wire between left IP junction block connector C3 terminal C10 and dome light terminal "A". Clear DTC.
