Removal & Installation ("H" Body)

Remove rear brake shoes. See REAR BRAKE SHOES . Disconnect inlet tube nut and line. Plug opening in line to prevent fluid loss and contamination. Remove wheel cylinder bolts and wheel cylinder. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply sealant to wheel cylinder face that contacts backing plate. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM in appropriate ANTI-LOCK article.
