Volts Indicator Inoperative

Using scan tool, check instrument cluster for DTC B0034. See DTC DEFINITIONS  table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC B0034 exists, locate and repair problem in serial data line circuits. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If DTC B0034 does not exist, locate and repair problem in charging system. See GENERATOR & REGULATOR article in ELECTRICAL section. Recheck system operation.
