Temp Indicator Inoperative

Using scan tool, check instrument cluster for DTC B0034. See DTC DEFINITIONS table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC B0034 exists, locate and repair problem in serial data line circuits. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If DTC B0034 does not exist, perform on-board diagnostic system check. See TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Recheck system operation.
